The Newhall Navel Orange is native to the United States and is derived from the buds of the Washington Navel Orange in Duarte, California. It was introduced to China in 1978 and widely cultivated in provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions such as Chongqing, Jiangxi (Xingguo), Sichuan, Hubei, Hunan, and Guangxi. Newhall navel orange is a fresh variety with beautiful appearance, excellent meat quality, and good commercial value.
